We are currently search for a Corporate Records Clerk to join our Corporate Services team, and we invite you to review the job description.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Attend to annual maintenance of B.C. and Federal corporations, including the preparation of annual resolutions, annual returns, and related documents;
  • Draft and prepare corporate legal documents including documents related to changes in directors, officers and registered office;
  • Prepare and file business name registrations, limited partnership declarations and extra-provincial registrations;
  • Update public records for B.C., Federal and extraprovincial corporations;
  • Organize and update corporate minute books and client database;
  • Other duties as required.

Knowledge, Qualities & Experience Required

  • Legal office experience required; formal LAA / corporate education preferred;
  • Experience in a corporate services position and with the ALF database system required;
  • Experience with Elite an asset;
  • Intermediate MS Office software skills;
  • Accurate and strong attention to detail;
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities required to prioritize a high volume of tasks and competing priorities;
  • Dedicated to providing service beyond expectation;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Proven problem-solving skills with the ability to visualize and deliver creative solutions; and
  • Ability to manage multiple internal clients and be adaptable to the needs of each.
